What are the benefits of having a professional organizer?
A professional organizer will keep you focused on your goals and guide you through the de-cluttering and organizing process quickly and more efficiently than if you did it on your own. A professional organizer’s experience and knowledge base will provide you with the tools to help you stay organized.
Do I need to prepare before my first consultation?
Yes. We will send assessment questions by email or fax to help facilitate the organizing process. This saves you time and money by making our on-site time together efficient and cost-worthy. In addition we ask that you prepare yourself to be free of interruptions, dress comfortably, be well rested, have water on hand, and collect any supplies assigned to you. Please call if you have any questions or concerns.
How long will it take to organize me?
Because all clients are different it is impossible to give an exact quote based on the amount of time it will take to complete. Factors to consider are how long disorganization has been happening, extent of the clutter, how fast the client makes decisions, the ability of the client to complete homework assignments, and the ability of the client to change their organizational habits. Based on our experience, we will be able to give you a timeframe for projects which will fall under one of these three categories.

How much will it cost?
See our workshops page for workshop pricing details. We begin with a 1-2 hour consultation, including assessments and proposal --$65.00/hr. At the consultation, you will receive an organizational file which includes resources and assessments. Following the consultation, you will receive a follow up email summarizing the visit and detailing recommendations. Should we determine that Organize & Harmonize is a good fit to take action on the plan, the rate for implementation is $50/hr. There is a $5/hour disount for clients who book their next hands-on appointment at the time of service. In addition, containers are usually recommended for most organizing projects. Those will be paid for by the client who can shop for them on their own, or Organize & Harmonize will do the shopping for you. Payment is due at time of service.
